Hallmark's Dutch Barn Playhouse is a beautiful
children's
playhouse, with a unique curved roof providing
generous headroom. Light floods in from the 4
windows making it a light and airy fun place to
play. The side window has decorative shutters. The
Dutch Barn Playhouse is available in

size - 6x6.
All exterior
surfaces are manufactured from tongued & grooved
timber, and the building is manufactured to European
Safety Standard EN71, and includes a safety hinge. The Hallmark
Dutch Barn playhouse is manufactured by Walton Garden Buildings who are Britain's largest manufacturer of timber garden buildings.

Quality Construction
All Hallmark
Playhouses are manufactured using Pine from well managed sustainable forests. The manufacturer (Walton's) supports the FSC, and is fully committed to the concept of sustainability.
The
Dutch Barn is constructed using tongue and groove timber on the walls.
The floor and roof are made in solid sheets. Smooth planed framing (27x32mm) has been used internally, and is doubled at the corners for strength. Green mineral roofing felt is supplied to keep the roof watertight.

Maintenance and Preservative
The Hallmark
Dutch Barn Playhouse has been treated with a light brown
factory applied base coat. The treatment used is
water-based, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly.
Once your garden building has been installed, you should
treat it immediately and continue to maintain it with a good quality preservative every year or two (in accordance with the manufacturers instructions). This will ensure that your building will last for many years.

shown in the photo.

Doors and Locking System
The Dutch
Barn Playhouse is supplied with a single door 1.15m (3ft
9in)
high.
Safety hinges, magnetic catches and a wooden knob handle are
fitted as standard on the doors.

Windows and Glazing
The Dutch
Barn
Playhouse is supplied with 4 fixed windows
fitted on the front and side, allowing plenty natural light. Styrene (Perspex©) glazing is fitted as standard,
which is safe, and is stronger than it's equivalent in standard glass.

Straight-forward Assembly
These
buildings are supplied in flat-pack form with
comprehensive instructions. Installation should take
about 3 hours. A firm concrete or paved base is
recommended to make a sound job, although it can be
installed on timber bearers if required. This
would provide a safe play environment for your children. Only basic tools are required, and no professional experience is necessary. Whilst this is predominantly a DIY product, we can provide an INSTALLATION SERVICE throughout most of the UK if required.
